However, its temporal behavior is not easy to predict due to the large variability in the quality of the refuse fed to the incinerators. One efficient approach to properly control the NOx concentration is to derive a mathematical model that clarifies the NOx generation process. This paper proposes a system identification method based on the least-squares method with weights on inputs and output and ARX (Auto Regressive eXogenous) model for the generation processes.
