This research has developed a droplet network battery based on the mechanism of the power-generating organ of electric eels. The structure of the battery is a chemical gradient cell constructed by introducing a membrane protein at the connection of the droplet interfacial bilayer (DIB) that contains ions.The power generation function has been verified with the smallest unit; however, it is necessary to link multiple units together for higher output.
