The dual-band resonators (DBRs) that constitute the proposed DBPF are based on our previously proposed DBR whose feature is that a unit of structure has odd- and even-mode resonant frequencies. The DBR in this paper is downsized by omitting a half of the symmetric structure of the previously proposed DBR, which leads to the miniaturization of the proposed DBPF. As an experimental example, a 0.8-\/2.1-GHz band DBPF is designed and fabricated employing multilayered low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technologies.
