Generally fuse elements are covered thickly by the solid insulator and arc extinction sand to support, fix and insulate the fuse elements and terminals. Therefore it is difficult to observe the arc behavior inside of fuselink. In this study, we constructed transparent fuse box to observe arc behavior inside of fuse, and observed the light emission of arcing in the breaking test with high-speed video camera.
