An impedance analyzing method for the current transformer, the so-called “indirect measurement method” is achieved by measuring the exciting impedance and the leakage resistance.We developed a new exciting impedance measuring setup that was able to be measured easily and widely for an indirect measurement method. The ratio error and phase displacement of two under-test current transformers were measured using a developed measuring setup and a current comparator.In this report, the principle and specification of developed measuring setup are described.
