However, there are many sources of uncertainty like: activity durations, renewable resource availability, task insertion etc. One of the main avenues to solve the stochastic project scheduling problem is to develop robust schedules that can deal with uncertain circumstances. We consider a threshold that cut some solutions off in the first stage, and we initialize the population with the individuals selected from the first stage so that we can speed up the convergence.
