The dominant driving source of three-phase transformer core vibration is implied to be attributed to the phasedifference in the across-the-width component of magnetic flux in three-phase excitation. High harmonic components ofacoustic noise would be derived from waveform distortion of local flux density of iron core by frequency analysis on bothacoustic noise and magnetization waveform.
