In the present study, 1MW class HTS generator was designed by assuming the field leakage co-efficient and using the fundamental electric design method developed based on the case of the water-wheel generator. Moreover, the field leakage co-efficient of this model was calculated and evaluated by using 3D-magnetic simulation.
