Nevertheless, it is not clear what fundamental items are in this problem before the quantative research such as what mathematical form should be adopted, how to proceed with joint research by multidisciplinary researchers, and how to cooperate with them, etc.In this paper, Kauai island which is a remote island in Hawaii, USA is taken up as an example of optimization research.
