In this paper, a synthesis methodology of the strongly stabilizing controller based on the minimal-order dual observer is studied. The basic idea of our approach for synthesis of the strongly stabilizing controller is to formulate the condition for simultaneous stabilizability of the controller and the feedback control system by using linear matrix inequalities, taking advantage of features of dual observer which can freely assign the closed-loop poles resulting from the output injection.
