As a result, it was found that there was a relatively large concentrated capacitance to ground in the circuit and that a capacitive load was grounded, it could come to discharge of capacitive load and occurrence of overvoltage. However, it was thought that such a circuit condition is very rare in the actual power system. In addition, NSDD suppressing technique by conditioning of the vacuum valve was studied.
