This task typically depends on the experiences. Operators have requested assistance by a system. The authors propose a train rescheduling system for the assistance. The system simulates and proposes a possible operation after an accident. The system calculates simultaneously passengers’ flow in the proposed train operation and evaluates the goodness of the operation. In addition, the authors have implemented a function of automatic local minimization of the evaluation criteria by applying timetable alternation.
