Further problems on magnetic circuits of V-shaped IPM are pointed out in this paper by magnetic field analysis.  The investigation of magnetic flux vector led us to the consideration of “distribution of magnetic-path”.  That is able to solve problems of magnetic circuits of V-shaped IPM.  As a result, the distribution of magnetic-path led to the reduction of magnet used about 28.3%.
