One side, owing to the discontinuity of control output of VS HSPS controller, it is a potential source for excitation of shaft torsional oscillation. On the other side, it is also possible to mitigate the torsional dynamic (damping oscillation and suppressing the transient torque) due to the ability of HSPS to modulate dynamic power.
