In order to minimize the run time, power consumption from commercial line, EDLC bank storage is incorporated in the system. The capacitor bank energy storage system will find valuable applications where a source of very high power is required. The inverter converts the DC from PV to an approximated sine wave AC and the MPPT, which is embodied in the inverter, is utilized to keep the PV generator operating at or near its maximum power point. The stand-by charger rectifies the AC to DC form and charges the capacitor banks.
