But the transient characteristic of a PWM converter with ripple reduction has hardly been investigated. In fact, when the load of the converter has been changed abruptly as a step signal, the transient response will become oscillatory on some occasions. In this paper, the authors analyzed the reason of the phenomenon and proposed a method of solving the oscillation of the system.
