In this paper, an experiment to control Marine Express (ME)02 underwater over three short-stators is presented. The total length of the discontinuous short-stators is only 1\/3 of the total running distance. To measure continuously the vehicle's speed and position a telemeter sensor system is used. The control is carried out with a discrete current and a variable mechanical load angle.
