The need of using other alternative choices such as genetic algorithms (GA’s) to solve such difficult problems becomes more evident in case of little or no prior knowledge is available. In integration GA and power system simulation tools, among them such as PSCAD\/EMTDC, EMTP, EuroStag, etc, ObjectStab in Dymola is more flexible than those in point of direct access to component models and interfacing with other tools.
