The measuring system is a condenser type potential divider.  This divider includes an inductor which usually has nonlinearity. Considering the nonliarity, we analyse the input surge voltage to the divider which is described by Laguerre function of the time and also the output voltage from it. Both input and output waves are transformed by Wavelet transform. The difference between the zero-crossing points of input and output waves can be seen very small.
