To devise an efficient transmission tariff, recently transmission pricing has become one of major research topics in power industries. This paper aims to present a transmission pricing methodology for bilateral energy transactions in voluntary net pool in competitive environment, based on exact loss contribution, associated congestion charge due to generation rescheduling for relieving congested transmission lines and long run average incremental cost (LRAIC). To demonstrate effectiveness of proposed transmission pricing methodology for bilateral energy transaction, It was applied to modified IEEE 14 bus system, IEEE 30 bus RTS system and finally in Integrated Nepal Power System (INPS) consisting 58 buses,18 generators, and 91 branches.
