Compared with the conventional tokamaks, ST has high natural elongation and natural triangularity, and the equilibrium and stability properties are much different because of the much smaller aspect ratio. Cauchy Condition Surface (CCS) method can reproduce plasma shape with magnetic signals and it has advantages in the real-time plasma control. In order to adopt it in CPD, the precision of plasma shape reproduction is analyzed.
