This system is useful for many areas such as virtual environment, telemedicine, e- commerce, etc. Then, we were successful in automatic recording and reproducing apple flavor by using up to 8 odor components. In this work, the recording of fruit flavors such as apple, banana, orange, strawberry and peach based on the same set of odor components was realized by our newly-developed odor recording system.In odor recording process, all odor components were measured in advance. All possible combinations were estimated based on superposition theorem. Then target odor was measured and recording process was started by selecting three combinations the closest to the target in linear discriminant analysis (LDA) space. After compensation, three combinations were selected again and again until convergence.
