However, special treatment for initial condition is required for the method. A program, which calculates the initial conditions for lumped-parameter elements and distributed-parameter lines, is developed in this paper. The Frequency domain Transients Program (FTP) is enhanced by the implementation of a steady state analysis and the initial condition routine.
