The agent-based control provides increased flexibility with autonomic system reconstruction capability in the case of malfunction or fault, significantly increasing the reliability. The distributed intelligence within the agents facilitates the optimization of the converters’ operation in line with the system control strategy. The practical implementation of the agents is accomplished by embedded software.
