In this system, SMES (Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage) is proposed for compensation scheme. SMES charges and discharges the energy to and from the dc side and it will compensate required power of fluctuation to obtain constant power. This HVDC (High Voltage DC Transmission) system with energy storage enables the supplied power leveling in receiving side.
