The magnetic hysteresis curve of PWM inverter-fed electrical steel has a lot of minor loops on it. Through the discussion of the time series of the magnetic flux density and field, these minor loops are caused by the property of the magnetic flux density; and further, the property of the magnetic flux density is affected by output voltage shifts of the PWM inverter. Then, PWM inverter circuit analysis points out that the PWM inverter’s semiconductors’ characteristic, on-voltage, makes output voltage shifts.
