The power density of this machine is calculated to be 45kW\/L. The proposed design is realized for a drive system driven by inverter with 355V DC input. The current density is taken to be 21A(rms)\/mm2. The current and voltage behavior is studied and owing to the low voltage design, the parallel paths in each phase is evaluated to be eight.
