It is expected that inertial response control of wind turbine is effective to mitigate frequency drop in the case of sudden disconnection of any generating plant. In particular, this fast frequency response is needed to improve ROCOF (rate of change of frequency) and frequency nadir when moment of inertia of the entire system decreases because a part of conventional generators is replaced with asynchronous generators such as renewable energy sources.
