In [1], we proposed a simultaneous scheduling method of generators and BESS using prediction intervals, which is a possible range of the actual PV power output at a given confidence level. However, the constraints of the response characteristics of thermal generators were not sufficiently considered. Also, the inverter and battery capacities of the BESS were ignored. In this study, we improved the previous method and developed a new scheduling method of thermal generators and BESS considering startup\/stopping costs of thermal and the inverter and battery capacities.
