要約(日本語): The use of multiple antenna elements in a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar enables estimation of directions of multiple targets. However, angle resolutions for the multiple targets depend on aperture lengths of array antennas. This paper discusses a virtually extended antenna array technique. We verified that introducing an overlearning suppression method to the virtually extended array technique is necessary for actual multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar signals having distortions mainly due to a discontinuity problem.
