要約(日本語): Due to the complex relationship between odor compounds and sense of smell, there are still large gaps in the field of olfactory research. As differential activation of olfactory receptors (ORs) expressed in the olfactory neurons is crucial for odor discrimination, we thought to use olfactory receptor responses to study odor reproduction. Here we provide a method to predict the OR responses. We used the artificial neural network to predict the mouse OR response of single compounds through the mass spectrum of odor compounds. Then, we confirmed that this method can also predict the OR response of mixture.
