要約(英語): When an observer views stationary visual information (test stimulus) after viewing visual information moving in one direction (adaptation stimulus) for dozens of seconds, the observer perceives the test stimulus as moving in opposite direction to that of the adaptation stimulus. This phenomenon is referred to as motion aftereffects (MAE). In the present study, we investigated MAE to global rotational motion integrated by stationary Gabor patches containing a vertically or horizontally drifting grating. Results indicate that MAE in opposite direction to that of perceived rotational motion.
