要約(日本語): 蒸気機関の回転を制御する調速機に端を発するといわれるフィードバック制御が広く用いられている。 ただし，制御に関わる者以外には当然のことであり，効果が分かりにくい場合がある。 本稿では、単純なON-OFF制御や比例制御と比較して、PID制御がいかに制御性能を向上させるかを示す教材を開発した結果を報告する。

要約(英語): Feedback control, which is said to originate from a speed governor that controls the rotation of a steam engine, is widely used. However, it is a matter of course for anyone other than those who are involved in control, and the effect may be difficult to understand. This paper, reports the results of developing teaching materials that show how PID control improves control performance compared to simple ON-OFF control and proportional control.
