Therefore, it is necessary to develop torque control methods to reduce its noise. Vector control is a very mature control method controlling the current and the torque of permanent magnet motors. However, it is difficult to control the current when using vector control for SRMs because of its strongly nonlinear and time-varying characteristics. In this paper, a current controller is designed based on the internal model, and it has been found to be very effective to control the current and the torque of an SRM.
