要約(日本語): 爪は2週間で約1mm成長するが、その成長過程で血中のホルモンを取り込む。したがって、爪は日々のホルモン分泌の記録媒体と考えることができる。本研究では、人間のストレスに応じて分泌が変化すると想定される6種類のホルモンについて、ヒトの爪から定量分析する手法を報告する。この技術により、体内のホルモンの中長期的な変化、ひいては、日常生活におけるストレスの変遷について客観的に評価できると期待される。

要約(英語): Finger nail incorporates hormones secreted in the blood stream when it forms at the nail bed. Thus, human nail can be taken as recording medium of human hormonal secretion; it reflects the hormones secreted within a certain period of time. In this study, we propose a method to determine the six nail hormones which are considered to modulate reflecting psychological stressor in everyday life. The proposed technique should enable us to assess the change in hormonal secretion and so to evaluate the psychological state in daily life objectively.
