要約(英語): Since the start of full retail liberalisation in Japan in 2016, we have seen examples of retail electricity providers going bankrupt. Currently, due to the size and circumstances of the failing suppliers, no major problems have arisen, but it is difficult to say that there is a complete response to the sudden failure of a large supplier. This paper summarises the UK's response to the extension of the Special Administration Regime (SAR), which previously applied to transmission and distribution companies, to suppliers and identifies the issues involved.
