In recent years, there have been concerns about the demerits of block bidding, such as the possibility that it may reduce the transaction rate of the market as a whole and cause loss of transaction opportunities. In the future, it will be important to study the basic concepts of bidding and the economically rational behavior of power producers when bidding is done. However, there are a few analysis approaches to considering the bidding mechanisms. Therefore, this study proposes a model of block bidding behavior of power producers in the spot market.
