要約(日本語): Arc lamps are devices that generate arc discharge between electrodes. The radiation generated by arc discharges is close to sunlight in the visible light region, with high luminance and high color rendering. Arc lamps are designed based on the experimental and analytical methods, and the analysis about the heat input at different location was barely reported. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the radiated power at different location, which varies with electrode geometry and current. In this paper, the analysis of heat input to object material with increasing interelectrode distance in arc lamps using three-dimensional electromagnetic thermohydrodynamic simulation was implemented. As a result, No bias in radiation power due to the high temperature region occurring near the electrode occurred, and a symmetrical temperature distribution was formed.
