要約(日本語): Analysis of a hybrid AC/DC system due to elements operation behavior and simulation nonlinearity remains a challenging endeavor. This paper describes short-circuit phenomena in a hybrid AC/DC system using DC link to classical AC complex analysis method. At first, the proposed hybrid system is simplified by analyzing DC link, and then its equivalent model in terms of AC analysis is obtained. In fact, this study tries to eliminate the switching elements and evaluate the passive components in terms of a hybrid system operation at the time of fault. Afterward, short-circuit study is conducted, AC and DC sources' influence at the fault point is observed. The conventional numerical methods are applied to determine joule heating, which is a critical factor for power system protection devices, operation planning and analysis.
