要約(日本語): This paper proposes a ghost target suppression technique for multiple input multiple out (MIMO) radar base automotive millimeter-wave radars. An antenna array thinning technique suppresses a ghost target appearing in the spatial spectrum for target angle estimation. Experimental results validated the effectiveness of the proposed method under the environment for one larger target and one smaller target. A MIMO radar-based single-chip frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar evaluation board validated the proposed method. The experimental result confirmed that the proposed method suppresses a ghost target, allowing the identification of the number of targets and a small target.
