要約(日本語): 近年、内視鏡画像からのポリープ検出において、ColonFormerモデルが高い検出精度を実現している。しかしColonFormerのEncoderでは、複数のレベルからの情報を融合する際に曖昧さの伝播を生じるという問題があり、これにより、検出精度の低下を招くことがある。本稿では、曖昧さの伝播を抑制するために、ColonFormerモデルへのHierarchical Inter-Level Attention (HILA) の適用を検討した。実験では、多くのデータセットに対してHILAがある場合に検出精度が高いことを確認した。

要約(英語): In recent research, the ColonFormer model has shown promising results in polyp detection from endoscopic images. To further improve accuracy, the model was enhanced with Hierarchical Inter-Level Attention (HILA) to reduce ambiguity propagation. Experimental results demonstrated the effectiveness of HILA in achieving high detection accuracy across multiple datasets.
