要約(日本語): 本研究では，景色の流れ，すなわちオプティカルフローに基づく走行速度知覚の特性について検討した．実験では，事前に自動車運転時にダッシュボード上に設置したビデオカメラより撮影したオプティカルフロー映像を参加者に提示し，知覚される速度感覚を評価させた．その結果，観察者の年齢，映像の移動速度，および映像の範囲によって知覚される走行速度が変化することが明らかとなった．

要約(英語): The present study examined effects of aging on visually perceived vehicle speed by using video clips of scenes captured in actual driving. The results showed that perceived speed was slower in older (over 40 years old) participants than in younger ones. The perceived speed was also affected by driving speed (manipulated by changing playback speed) and area of video clips.
