要約(日本語): 京都議定書締結後，省エネ法の改正，原油価格の高騰，地球温暖化対策の機運の高まりもあり，筆者らは2000年頃から省エネ，省コスト，省CO2の実現を目的とした需要家向けのエネルギーマネジメントシステムの開発を実施してきた。本稿では，工場向けを中心に開発事例と研究事例を紹介し，エネルギーマネジメントシステムの研究の進展状況と今後について展望する。

要約(英語): Since around 2000, we have been developing energy management systems for consumers with the aim of saving energy, reducing costs, and reducing CO2 emissions. This paper introduces development and research examples, mainly for factories, and looks at the progress and future of energy management system research.
