要約(日本語): 第二世代ディジタル形保護リレーシリーズMELPRO-CHARGE2は実用化から約10年が経過した。その間に保護リレー装置を取り巻く環境は変化し、電力系統の特性・構成の変化に伴う保護機能へのニーズだけでなく、業務の負担や装置コストの削減などを目的とした高度化、統合化が求められるようになってきた。これらに対応するため、MELPRO-C2の後継機種のMELPRO-CHARGE3を開発した。そして、臨時系統保護・母線警報リレー装置として製品化したのでMELPRO-C3の特徴と共に報告する。

要約(英語): The second-generation digital protection relay series MELPRO-CHARGE2 has been used for approximately 10 years. During that time, the environment surrounding protection relays has changed, and in addition to needs for protection functions that can adapt to the change of characteristics and configurations of power systems, need for reduction of the workload associated with relay operations and maintenance over the long term are increasing. In response to these needs, we have developed and commercialized the MELPRO-CHARGE3 as the successor model to MELPRO-CHARGE2, and this paper presents a report on it.
