要約(英語): To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, renewable energy sources are being integrated into the distribution system. Renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic (PV) systems have high volatility because their output is heavily influenced by weather conditions. In the future, the power system might become unstable due to the increasing penetration of such energy sources, and we need to advance studies towards achieving this goal. In this research, we assume the future scenario where section switches are widely installed in distribution systems and Thyristor Voltage Regulators (TVRs) are used for voltage control. We investigate the appropriate locations for TVRs installations, assuming that system configuration switching will be performed using section switches. Specially, assuming that TVRs are already installed directly below substations, we investigate the appropriate locations for TVR installations that can flexibly respond to significant changes in system conditions due to factors such as time of day and system configuration switching.
