要約(日本語): 研究人材の育成・確保は持続的なイノベーション創出に必要であり、政策等の検討のためには専門分野ごとの研究者の動向把握は重要である。本稿では、科学技術研究調査のデータを用いて、企業における電気・通信分野の研究者に関する20年間の動向を分析した。その結果、この20年間で電気・通信分野の研究者数は微減し、工学分野全体に占める割合も低下した。一方、女性研究者数は増加し、その割合も増大していることが示された。

要約(英語): This paper uses data from Survey of Research and Development to analyze trends among company researchers in electricity and communications fields. As a result, the number of researchers has declined slightly over the past two decades, and the percentage has dropped. However, the number and percentage of female researchers increased.
