In this process, the relationship between the type of synthesized voice and the content may differ based on the type of information being conveyed, similar to how different fonts are used in written documents._x000D_ This study investigates the use of synthesized voices in screen readers by visually impaired individuals and evaluates the usability of such environments. Specifically, a survey was conducted among students at Tsukuba University of Technology to assess the types of synthesized voices they use._x000D_ The results indicated that users enhance the usability of screen readers by adjusting settings, such as increasing the speech rate of the synthesized voice. Conversely, it was also found that even in standard settings provided by the screen readers, an acceptable level of usability was maintained for regular use.
