要約(日本語):In Japan, sightseeing support systems are being equipped with multilingual interfaces as part of efforts to accommodate tourists from various countries. However, it is challenging to cover a sufficient number of languages in such "multilingualization" efforts. Against this backdrop, we developed a sightseeing support system that is free of language barriers. Its main feature is that the user interfaces are implemented using only non-linguistic information such as pictograms, images, and Arabic numerals. Field tests conducted in the Tokyo Tama area demonstrated that the system can properly guide tourists.
