要約(英語): A switchable terahertz (THz) band pass filter is proposed in this paper by using metamaterial concept with micro electric mechanical system (MEMS) electrostatic actuation. The band pass filter has two layers of metal slit with a spacer between them, where a MEMS cantilever is added on the device surface to control the coupling to the incident electromagnetic wave and thus control the switchablity of the band pass filter.
