要約(英語): The purpose of study is to develop a new odor visualization technology. At present, there is some limitation in visualization technology. For instance, visualization of odors emitted by plants in agricultural environment is hard to be realized. We propose an approach using molecular-imprinted-polymer(MIP) fluorescent nano beads for plant odro visualization. Tomato is a widely consumed vegetable, and hexanal is a kind of representative odors emitted by tomato. Hence, hexanal became one of the target odros in this work. To assess detection capability of MIP fluorescein nano beads, we have investigated the response properties fluorescein probe and adsorption properties of hexanal imprinted polymer nano beads to hexanal. The result showed that 5(6)-carboxyfluorescein could be used as the corresponding probe for hexanal detection. In addition, selective detection of hexanal was achieved by hexanal imprinted polymer nano beads. Visualization of hexanal detection utilizing hexanal imprinted polymer nano beads bound with 5(6)-caboxyfluorescein is under study.
